Our Tobacco Smoke and Odor Air Purifiers are made with extra deep-bed industrial activated carbon filters with Super HEPA filter to remove more of the tobacco smoke and odor. They also have a tar-trapping pre-filter to prevent the main filters from clogging.

 

Filter Configuration in our ProMedic 5 and 6 series

 AllerAir Filter Stage


AirMedic Pro5 and  AirMedic Pro 6 series are using True Medical Grade HEPA filter on the final stage of the filtration process. Contaminated air is being drawn through the bottom of the air purifier, goes through the Pre-Filter, then through extra deep industrial Activated Carbon Filter (3.5" in Pro 5 and 5" in Pro 6), and finally through the Medical Grade Super HEPA filter. The clean air is vented out through the top of the unit.

AirMedic Pro 5 and Pro 6 series, are designed to move 400 and 560 CFM and are rated to filter a room between 1500 to 2000 sf, based on the ceiling height of 8'. This produces a minimum of 2 air changes per hour. 

 

Filter Configuration in HealthMate Plus

Stage 1- Large Particle Pre-Filter removes particles such as dust, pet dander, hair.

Stage 2- Medium Particle Pre-Filter removes medium to small size particles, such as pollen, spores or molds.

Stage 3- Over 780 cubic inches of Activated Carbon, Potassium Iodide Impregnated Carbon and Zeolite to remove Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde, benzenes, chemicals, gases and odors.

Stage 460 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 95% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns
