CeraSyl ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) microfilter, shell only, Designed to trap all sub-micron particulates such as pathogenic bacteria and cysts to provide safe drinking water. The filter is silver-impregnated to prevent bacteria growth and is self sterilizing.  Excellent as a stand alone filter for removing unwanted sediment and bacteriologic contaminants.
